The Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI), 9-3 in Friday's league contest.
Coming up next, the Jets play the Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 22. Airport will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Bluestreaks enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 6-2 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MI).
The Bears now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Milan for a Huron contest on Monday, April 24. Jefferson will play a Big Reds squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy (Brighton, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 8-2.
