In Friday's league match, the visiting Artesia Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Lovington Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (13-10) will now prepare for their match against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets go into the 4A District 4 match with a 15-8 record. In their last match, Goddard edged Portales (Portales, NM), 12-0, in a league match.
The Wildcats (9-14) will now prepare for their match against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams go into the 4A District 4 match with a 10-11 record. In their last match, Portales was overwhelmed by Goddard (Roswell, NM), 12-0, in a league match.
