Texas High School Baseball - Boerne-Champion can't hold off Smithson Valley

In Friday's league game, the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Boerne-Champion Chargers.
The Rangers (14-5) will now prepare for their match against Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 26 match with a 13-11 record. In their last match, Pieper was edged by Tivy (Kerrville, TX), 10-0, in a league match.
The Chargers (20-9) will now prepare for their match against Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Matadors go into the 5A Region IV District 26 match with a 4-14 record. In their last match, Seguin was edged by Canyon (New Braunfels, TX), 12-1, in a league match.
