The Bowie Bears baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Irvin Rockets to 2 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
The Bears (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Austin (El Paso, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region I District 1 match with a 0-23 record. In their last match, Austin was overwhelmed by Riverside (El Paso, TX), 13-0, in a league match.
The Rockets (4-18) will now prepare for their match against Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Rangers go into the 4A Region I District 1 match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Riverside gained a win over Austin (El Paso, TX), 13-0, in a league bout.
