In Friday's non-league game, the host Newington Nor'easters baseball team scored a tight 12-6 victory over the Bristol Eastern Lancers.
The Nor'easters (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Hartford Public (Hartford, CT). The Owls go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Lancers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Platt (Meriden, CT). The Panthers go into the Central Connecticut - South game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Platt was overwhelmed by Bristol Central (Bristol, CT), 9-3, in a league game.
