In Friday's non-league game, the host Fort Frye Cadets baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Caldwell Redskins.
The Cadets (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH). The Zeps go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Shenandoah tipped Beallsville (Beallsville, OH), 17-1, in a non-league game.
The Redskins (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Ohio Valley Athletic AA game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Bridgeport was edged by Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV), 17-7, in a non-league game.
