The North Davidson Black Knights got by the visiting Central Davidson Spartans baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Black Knights now possess a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Ledford for a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout on Tuesday, April 25. North Davidson will face a Panthers team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.
Next, the Spartans face the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Central Davidson will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Grizzlies enter the bout with a 9-9 record after their 10-0 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).
