In Friday's league game, the host North Kingstown Skippers baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Coventry Oakers.
The Skippers (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers go into the Division 1 (State) game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Cumberland ran past Toll Gate (Warwick, RI), 10-4, in a league game.
The Oakers (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans go into the Division 1 (State) game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Toll Gate was overwhelmed by Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 10-4, in a league game.
