In Friday's league game, the host Larkin Royals baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Fenton Bison.
The Royals (1-14) will now prepare for their game against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave go into the non-league game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, St. Edward was edged by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 11-1, in a non-league game.
The Bison (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals go into the Upstate Eight game with a 1-14 record.
