The Frisco Raccoons crushed the visiting Newman Smith Trojans baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Raccoons now possess a 23-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ryan for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 22. Frisco will face a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-9.
Next, the Trojans face the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Newman Smith will attempt to move on its 1-15 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 13-11 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX).
