The Salado Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Gatesville Hornets to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their match against China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Cougars go into the 4A Region III District 23 match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, China Spring gained a win over Godley (Godley, TX), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (8-5) will now prepare for their match against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates go into the 4A Region III District 23 match with a 0-14 record. In their last match, La Vega was overwhelmed by Connally (Waco, TX), 17-5, in a league match.
