The Mattanawcook Lynx baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles to 4 in the Lynx league victory on Friday.
The Lynx (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates go into the Class C North match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Piscataquis gained a win over Schenck (East Millinocket, ME), 15-8, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Golden Bucks go into the Class C North match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Bucksport gained a win over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME), 15-3, in a league match.
