In Friday's league game, the visiting Griswold Wolverines baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Killingly Redmen.
The Wolverines (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Westbrook was overwhelmed by Morgan (Clinton, CT), 8-7, in a non-league game.
The Redmen (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Plainfield (Central Village, CT). The Panthers go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Plainfield overcame Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT), 10-0, in a non-league game.
