Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Lamar Silver Foxes (Lamar, SC) and the visiting McBee Panthers (McBee, SC), saw Lamar's baseball squad beat McBee by a margin of 9-6.

Coming up next, the Silver Foxes play the Latta Vikings (Latta, SC) in a 1A Region 6 battle, on Monday, April 24. Lamar will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 12-3 record after their 6-5 league win over Lake View (Lake View, SC).

The Panthers now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a non-league battle on Monday, April 24. McBee will play a Eagles squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-10.
