The Merrill Vandals baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting St. Charles Bulldogs to 0 in the Vandals league victory on Friday.
The Vandals (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI). The Wolverines go into the Mid-State match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Vestaburg was overwhelmed by Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 31-2, in a league match.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI). The Huskies go into the Mid-State match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Breckenridge was overwhelmed by Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI), 9-0, in a league match.
