North Carolina High School Baseball - Mitchell loses to Mountain Heritage

The Mountain Heritage Cougars crushed the host Mitchell Mountaineers baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a Western Highlands 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, April 25. Mountain Heritage will face a Patriots team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-8.

Next, the Mountaineers face the Rosman Tigers (Rosman, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 2-15 record after their 12-0 league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).
