Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Soledad Aztecs (Soledad, CA), 7-6 in a league test.

With the win, Palma upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Chieftains host Soledad (Soledad, CA) to battle the Aztecs in a PCAL - Gabilan test on Monday, April 24. The Aztecs come into the test with a record of 11-7. Soledad lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Palma (Salinas, CA)
