In Friday's league game, the visiting Salem Spartans baseball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Patrick Henry Patriots.
The Spartans (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons go into the River Ridge game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Christiansburg overcame Pulaski County (Dublin, VA), 7-0, in a league game.
The Patriots (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans go into the River Ridge game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Hidden Valley overcame Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA), 11-1, in a league game.
