The St. Bernard Saints the host Putnam Clippers baseball team by a tally of 7-2 in Friday's league bout.
The Saints now hold a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Waterford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 25. St. Bernard will face a Lancers team coming off a 11-3 league loss to Fitch (Groton, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 4-4.
Next, the Clippers face the Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Division IV bout, on Tuesday, April 25. Putnam will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 8-6 league win over Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT).
