New Mexico High School Baseball - St. Michael's wallops Raton

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), saw St. Michael's's baseball squad knock off Raton by a count of 20-4.

Coming up next, the Horsemen play the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 24. St. Michael's will attempt to improve on its 14-9 season record. The Elks/Elkettes go into the game with a 13-10 record after their 7-0 league win over Taos (Taos, NM).

The Tigers (5-14) will now prepare for their game against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons go into the 3A District 2 game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, West Las Vegas was overwhelmed by Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM), 15-7, in a league game.
