The Refugio Bobcats baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Yorktown Wildcats to 2 in the Bobcats league victory on Friday.

The Bobcats (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins go into the 2A Region IV District 31 match with a 10-14 record. In their last match, Port Aransas gained a win over Pettus (Pettus, TX), 8-4, in a non-league match.

The Wildcats (8-11) will now prepare for their match against Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region IV District 31 match with a 11-10 record. In their last match, Woodsboro was overwhelmed by Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX), 4-1, in a league match.
