The Whiteville Wolfpack baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host West Columbus Vikings to 1 in the Wolfpack league victory on Friday.
The Wolfpack (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Titans go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Heide Trask was overwhelmed by South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 11-8, in a league match.
The Vikings (4-14) will now prepare for their match against Pender (Burgaw, NC). The Patriots go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 3-11 record. In their last match, Pender was overwhelmed by East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 15-0, in a league match.
