Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Coventry overwhelmed by Chariho

In Friday's league battle, the host Chariho Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.

The Chargers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams come into the Division 1 (State) battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, La Salle Academy achieved victory over North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Oakers clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 1 (State) battle, on Tuesday, April 25. Coventry will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
