The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) and the host McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), saw Fairfax's volleyball squad beat McClintock by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Fairfax upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Stampede host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bobcats in a 5A Metro bout on Tuesday, April 25. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-14. Central lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ)

The Chargers now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Metro Tech for a 5A Metro bout on Tuesday, April 25. McClintock will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 12-5.
