In Friday's league battle, the visiting South Aiken Thoroughbreds soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets.
The Thoroughbreds (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Providence (Lexington, SC). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Providence Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC), 2-2, in a non-league battle.
The Fighting Green Hornets (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Daniel (Central, SC). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Daniel was nudged by Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
