In Friday's league battle, the visiting Asheville Christian Academy Lions soccer squad scored a close 4-1 win over the Asheville School (Independent) Blues.

The Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles go into the NCISAA Carolina battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee nipped Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Blues (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Wildcats go into the NCISAA Carolina battle with a 3-8 record.
