Next, the Warriors confront the Pleasant Plains/New Berlin Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Monday, May 1. Athens/PORTA will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 16-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).

The Tigers now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverton/Tri-City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 22. Beardstown will confront a Hawks team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-7.
