In Friday's league battle, the visiting Eno River Bobcats soccer squad scored a close 5-0 win over the Oxford Prep Griffins.
The Bobcats (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC). The Flying Lions go into the Triangle North 1A battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Excelsior Classical Academy was overwhelmed by Eno River (Hillsborough, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Griffins (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Knights go into the Triangle North 1A battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Vance Charter nipped Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
