In Friday's league battle, the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the South Florence Bruins.
The Bruins (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against Georgetown (Georgetown, SC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Georgetown was nudged by Loris (Loris, SC), 7-1, in a league battle.
