In Friday's league game, the host Montezuma-Cortez Panthers baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Alamosa Mean Moose.
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record.
The Mean Moose (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Falcons go into the game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Centauri tipped Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO), 19-7, in a league game.
