The Watauga Pioneers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Hibriten Panthers to 6 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Friday.
The Pioneers (9-3) will now prepare for their match against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Blackhawks go into the non-league match with a 5-10 record.
The Panthers (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 13-5 record. In their last match, Alexander Central was overwhelmed by South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 2-1, in a league match.
