The Rifle Bears baseball team (Rifle, CO), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO)
The Bulldogs now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Montrose for a test on Monday, April 24. Palisade will battle a Red Hawks squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Red Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Rifle falls to 3-7 on the season. The Bears host Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Saturday, April 22. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 0-2. Battle Mountain lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO)
