In Friday's league game, the visiting Pleasant Valley Vikings baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Shasta Wolves.
The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Cougars go into the game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Foothill tipped Chico (Chico, CA), 1-0, in a league game.
The Wolves (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA). The Spartans go into the game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Red Bluff was overwhelmed by West Valley (Cottonwood, CA), 17-8, in a non-league game.
