The Richard Winn Academy Eagles (Winnsboro, SC) softball routed the host King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC), 18-7 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Ben Lippen was routed by Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC), 13-3, in a league bout.

The Knights now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richard Winn Academy for a bout on Friday, May 5.
