The North Kingstown Skippers lacrosse team scored 13 points and held the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks to 4 in the Skippers league win on Friday.
The Skippers (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots go into the Division 1 (State) game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Portsmouth was overwhelmed by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 15-3, in a league game.
The Hawks (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Xaverian Brothers prevailed over Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA), 16-10, in a non-league game.
