The La Salle Academy Rams lacrosse team scored 20 points and held the host East Greenwich Avengers to 0 in the Rams league win on Friday.
The Rams (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties go into the Division 1 (State) match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Mount St. Charles Academy was overwhelmed by Moses Brown (Providence, RI), 18-7, in a league match.
The Avengers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Hawks go into the Division 1 (State) match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Bishop Hendricken was overwhelmed by Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA), 14-2, in a non-league match.
