Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), 16-2 in a league battle.

The Pirates now have a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ashley for a Mideastern battle on Tuesday, April 25. Topsail will clash with a Screaming Eagle squad coming off a 13-6 league win over Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 16-1.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a Mideastern battle, on Tuesday, April 25. New Hanover will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 0-12 record after their 19-9 league loss to North Brunswick (Leland, NC).
