In Friday's league battle, the host Pleasant Grove Vikings soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Westlake Thunder.
The Vikings (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lone Peak (Highland, UT). The Knights go into the 6A Region 4 battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Lone Peak nipped Corner Canyon (Draper, UT), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Thunder (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against American Fork (American Fork, UT). The Cavemen go into the 6A Region 4 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, American Fork was nudged by Skyridge (Lehi, UT), 2-1, in a league battle.
