Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamstown for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Absegami will battle a Braves squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Bridgeton falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to battle the Spartans in a challenge on Monday, April 24. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Holy Spirit won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ)
