North Carolina High School Softball - Bartlett Yancey bounces Seaforth

The crowd at Friday's league match between the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) and the visiting Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC), saw Bartlett Yancey's softball squad achieve victory over Seaforth by a count of 14-4.

The Buccaneers now sport a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jordan-Matthews for a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 25. Bartlett Yancey will face a Jets squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Jets record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Seaforth falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Hawks host North Moore (Robbins, NC) to face the Mustangs in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match on Tuesday, April 25. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-9.
