The Southern Tornadoes softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Belpre Golden Eagles to 7 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Southern improves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH) to clash with the Lancers in a Tri-Valley - Hocking game on Monday, April 24. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 2-12. Federal Hocking lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Miller (Corning, OH)

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 25. Belpre will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
