Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host White Cloud Indians (White Cloud, MI), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central Montcalm for a Central State Activities Association-Gold challenge on Friday, April 28.

With the loss, White Cloud falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Grant (Grant, MI) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Grant won 10-8 in their recent league challenge against Newaygo (Newaygo, MI)
