The Sweeny Bulldogs softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Brazosport Exporters to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Sweeny improves its record to 23-9 on the year.
In their next game, the Exporters clash with the El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 27. Brazosport will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Ricebirds come into the game with a 25-7 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Caldwell (Caldwell, TX).
