New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tabb for a Bay Rivers challenge on Monday, April 24. New Kent will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-6 league win over York (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Bruton falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Smithfield (Smithfield, VA) to battle the Packers in a Bay Rivers challenge on Monday, April 24. The Packers enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Smithfield won 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Warhill (Williamsburg, VA)
