In Friday's non-league contest, the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) softball team held off the visiting Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, North Allegheny moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Butler (Butler, PA) to play the Golden Tornado in a WPIAL 6A 2 contest on Monday, April 24. The Golden Tornado come into the contest with a record of 1-3.
In their next game, the Big Macs play the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 contest, on Monday, April 24. Canon-McMillan will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA).
