The Cornerstone Charter Cardinals softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Carver Yellowjackets to 5 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Cornerstone Charter moves its record to 3-9 on the year. The Cardinals host Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a Northwest Piedmont 1A game on Monday, April 24. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 6-7. Leadership Academy won 22-0 in their recent non-league game against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A game, on Tuesday, April 25. Carver will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
