Spectators at Friday's league match between the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) and the visiting Chrisman Cardinals (Chrisman, IL), witnessed Georgetown-Ridge Farm's softball squad prevail over Chrisman by a count of 12-3.

The Buffaloes now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Armstrong for a Vermilion Valley match on Monday, April 24. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will face a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Westville (Westville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Chrisman moves to 2-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Salt Fork (Sidell, IL) to face the Storm in a Vermilion Valley match on Monday, April 24. The Storm go into the match with a record of 15-6. Salt Fork won 5-2 in their recent non-league match against Marshall (Marshall, IL)
