Spectators at Friday's league match between the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) and the host Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), witnessed Clarke County's softball squad prevail over Rappahannock County by a count of 12-0.
The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a Bull Run match on Monday, April 24. Clarke County will meet a Generals squad coming off a 11-2 league loss to Madison County (Madison, VA). The Generals record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Rappahannock County moves to 0-8 on the season. The travel to Page County (Shenandoah, VA) to meet the Panthers in a Bull Run match on Monday, April 24. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 9-3.
