The Crestwood Knights softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Lakewood Gators to 7 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Crestwood improves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Sumter (Sumter, SC) to clash with the Gamecocks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 25. The Gamecocks come into the game with a record of 10-5. Sumter lost 7-6 in their recent league game against Conway (Conway, SC)

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 24. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 0-14 record after their 17-2 league loss to Ridge View (Columbia, SC).
