California High School Softball - Piedmont Hills bounces Del Mar

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) and the host Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), witnessed Piedmont Hills's softball squad prevail over Del Mar by a count of 11-0.

The Pirates now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Overfelt for a Santa Teresa West match on Wednesday, April 26. Piedmont Hills will meet a Royals squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Royals record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Del Mar moves to 7-4 on the season. The Dons travel to Prospect (Saratoga, CA) to meet the Panthers in a Santa Teresa West match on Wednesday, April 26. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 2-9. Prospect won 7-2 in their recent league match against Lincoln (San Jose, CA)
